Message from the Andy Biddle Youth Sport Foundation (March 2021)
Like most charities, we had to cancel planned fundraising events in 2020 and unfortunately as a result, suspend our grant application process.

However, the winter period brought better news; construction company Wates granted us £500, and just before Christmas, we were informed we were one of 10 charities out of 200 that applied, to be awarded £1,000 from construction recruitment firm O'Neill & Brennan.
Just a reminder, since we set up the charity, we have awarded over £11,000 to 10 local youth sport causes. I know Bids would be proud.
There will be some changes to our trustees team this year and we hope to begin planning for fundraising events as soon as possible. Most importantly, our grant application process should restart in summer 2021 so we can begin again helping support youth sport in Sutton Coldfield in Bids's name.
Stay safe.
The Trustees, Andy Biddle Youth Sports Foundation.

Our Purpose
One of the main reasons the ABYSF was founded in 2018 was to provide potential sports coaches and mentors to improve their coaching skills by attending accredited training schemes provided by organisations like the ECB and FA.
We are keen to help clubs or individuals provide quality sports coaching and participation in a variety of sports in the local area.
